- Description: The dryer started to make a large swishing kind of clanking noise. When we opened the dryer, the ring had broken off. I had thought it was the ring and the gliders around the rim, so the first glider was replaced not the back one, thinking the issue would be fixed. However, when I turned the dryer. on, I had the same issue. I believe it might be the rollers? One seems to be loose. It could also be I just didn’t put it back properly.
